Hello, gang !
Long time no see, but it’s so good to be back !
I’m really impressed with all the art I saw lately, you guys and gals rocks ! :)
Today, I want to share with you the art for the book cover of J.M McDermott’s Never Knew Another.
It will be published by Night Shade Books, on February 2011 and it’s the first part of the Dogsland Trilogy. It was a great pleasure to work on this Fantasy book, who got an unusual tone for the genre. Trust me, it’s a very good story !
The good ol’ combo of mine: including locally some photographs over digital drawing, then mixing ink washes, acrylic paintings and ashes [true !] all over it.
I want to also add the cover design here, because it’s special to me: our fellow gorillas Federico Piatti and Victoria Maderna have added their magic over my art and I feel happy to see my friends and I involved in the same book !

A very special thanks to Dave Palumbo and J.M. McDermott, for this fantastic opportunity.
Best,
julien
