Hello! I’ve been a member for ages, but I keep getting awestruck by the incredible work that I don’t get to see in other places, and chicken-out of posting, even though I know loads of you. Well, Loren (Interceptor) has been persistent in persuading me to post (thank you Loren), so here’s a couple of  ‘Characters of the Week’ from Concept Art that I pulled because we had so many entries.  ‘Erica, Zombie Slayer’ and ‘The Absinthe Fairy’. They are both images I should spend longer on really, but time is a problem right now….

Long time no post from me here. This is for this week’s “Character of the week” contest on conceptart.org. The subject is “Bogeyman” and I thought of a nasty, small monster who hides under the bed and hangs around with the crows..

Painting part done in Painter, graphic design done in Photoshop.

I called it quits on this image a week or so ago. I’m really not sure if I’m complete or not, but I’m content with it, I think. It was the first personal illustration I’ve done this year that wasn’t tied town to a story I was developing. Felt good :)

Hello people,

Here is the final entries that I submitted to the Dominance War 4 competition.

Dominance War 4 is a competition inbetween multiple forums.

I did these while moving homes, taking care of my son and working full time. Needless to say it was very hard to squeeze it in and I am very happy and a little bit proud of pulling through.

Four GA members (Alice, Clo, Fedezz and myself) came together for Concepart.org’s CHOW Team activity. We had to design six characters who had specific personality/role descriptions but we could choose the theme and setting of it all, so we decided to make it “Rodents in the 80’s”. Ok, so they’re not all actually rodents, it was more Redwall-inspired so it’s more like uhm small mammals or something :P
