well… since i see a bunch of people doing animated gifs of process things… i made one :D. 2×2.

just playing around with shapes… though you can’t really see all the playing around.

some figure drawing. it’s fun to think about placement on the page. my friend Tonci… years ago… showed me a page of a book that really focused on that. it’s something to always strive for… good composition in everything. still gotta work on mine. :)

Well, I am reposting this turnaround because it goes with the model. It was fun to do. I modeled it in Wings3D and textured it using zbrush and photoshop.

About: These are for a project where I am using the shapes that are found on, and associated with bees and wasps. Bees and wasps are quite fearsome creatures, but I like to try to take the edge off of them and make them mellow out a bit.  Check out the bigger versions here: CLICK
