Hi fellaz,
I haven’t put anything in here in a while, so I guess it’s about time to spoil this great blog with my crap.
The first one is the cover for a sci-fi novel by wonderful author Marie Brunel, who gave me all the creative freedom to make this piece. It was huge fun!
The others are monsters made for NCsoft. Notice how the green one looks very retro? That was my goal, to create a monster from the 50’s horror movies. Also, great fun!
Hope you guys like it,
Khan

Now that your dirty little eyes are looking for some soft-porn content, I’ll have to dissapoint you. It’s not about that at all [applause].
I’ve been into fantasy stuff lately, and was trying to get my hands around it. Feel much safer with sci-fi but now I really enjoyed working on these.
This is the most recent one. It’s a NCsoft promotional piece, which will be used for advertisment in “Edge”, “GamesTm”, etc.
The image improved A LOT after Koshime’s friendly feedback (thanks Chee!).
“Armada”
This one is also a promo piece for NCsoft Europe. I really enjoyed working on the mass scene.
Bumskee helped with a friendly tip about the composition (i love you Min)
“Charge”
And this one is my version of “Eragon”, cause I hated that little cherub with curvy blond hair. I mean, c’mon..
“Eragon”
And some doodles from my SB:
I really hope You guys like it. Keep kicking my lazy ass, ok?
Love,

Hey fellaZ,
I suck so hard in painting realistic enviros, despite few years of matte painting experience so i kinda got back at it’s essentials: a la prima technique based on ref, taking only few minutes for each thumb.
Here’s the result:
And some old enviros:

Hi there,
I posted those on CA already but hack, I feel it needs to go in here too.
I was commissioned to co-direct and design a music video. Was suppose to be on Mtv, big time..
But the whole thing turned out to be a big fake and it ended up with a terrible disappointment.
The band (Frank & Skunk Allstars) still owe me 25′000 EUROS!!!!
Nevertheless, the job was huge fun, I made all the bgrs which were than used directly in the video.
It was a very difficult thing to design, I never did anything like that before but I think it turned out well.
Hope You guys like it,
Khan
It was back in ‘99 and I was just about to finish the art school. Few of my classmates and I had a big atelier provided by the school, where we spent most of our time. I remember, this was a place to work, go out and even get pissed by cheap wine. We just loved being there. Everybody was completely committed to his/her work. I use to spent weeks on a single piece, trying to make it as good as possible.
Looking back to it now, it seems like some of the best time I had. The smell of oils, dirty clothes and
jazz. Good times.
(Sorry for the picture quality)

Give love and you will be loved. Treat your pets the way You would like to be treated.
Even the ugliest creature has feelings. So take care of it, it’s fun!
You guys are all scary good!
Here’s my entry for CGS’ Journey challenge. Was a looser. So I cried like a baby and never entered any of those contests again. I felt so much like this painting at the time, so I guess that’s how I got it done.
As for the technique; I didn’t want to go with the standard bluish tones but took purple and grey. It was a one-week thing.

Hope you like it, fellows.
