Hey you talented and wonderful artists. I wanted to share a piece I made for a studio I am part of here in SF. It’s called “MothBall”. The show was full of beautiful artwork that was put up for auction. A lot of art sold for an incredibly low price. As an artist it’s a bit cringe worthy, but as a buyer it was a rare opportunity. “MothBall” Sold that night. I unfortunately was unable to get a really good picture of it, but this works for now. I saw Rodrigo’s beautiful piece there too, btw! Very cool. Anyways, thanks guys!

Hey GORILLAS!!! Just got my copy of the Gorilla Artfare Book the other day and was, to say the least, b l o w n AWAY! You guys are awesome. You should know that. ;) Here’s a painting I have done recently. It’s a study from Waterhouse. Weird how it looks nothing like Waterhouse,*shrugs* o well. Here ya’all go! Been missing you btw. This is a recent piece that finally dropped, from Wizards of the Coast.

Thought it might also interest a few if I showed some of the original ideas for this piece before it went to the final one shown. Believe me I know all that is so glaringly and obviously off about said piece, but I have learned that more often than not, deadlines are quick, and all too often I am left with “Just ship it!”. So perhaps in time I will get those rare moments of fixing and tweaking on this one, but for now you can at least see it in both early and finished-for-now state. Shameful I know. Do you forgive me?
