Hey Every body!

Here are three new paintings made for Gallery 1988’s cult classic themed group show, Crazy4Cult in July.  The opening is July 9th and I’m very happy to say that I’ll be making the trip over from Rhode Island for the opening.  If anybody is in the area and wants to get down on some sketching or whatever I’d love to get in touch.  I’ll be in LA til Tuesday night and then back to the east coast.  Oh I almost forgot… Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier are going to be there hosting the opening.  You can’t miss this one.

This is an editorial spot for Rumpus Magazine.

Here is a snippet from the article:
“Today, I realize the truth — that it is not sex work that society fears is dangerous, but sex workers.“

The article was an interesting read and was a ton of fun to illustrate. Stories like these have so much you can draw upon for visual inspiration.

A collection of my work will be shown at 303 Cafe in East Boston this month. This restaurant has such a great vibe to it. The menu is filled with eclectic choices like a BBQ Coffee flavored Chicken Tenders (which are delicious). Everything about the space oozes with personality.

Come check it out anytime from July 1st-July 30th.

    Really strong works here RP Kelly - pumped for all the new developments and momentum your art career has going right now.
