Made In China
Ni hao men !
After 6 months travelling around the South Hemisphere last year and settling down just the time to promote my new children book in France, I moved to China 2 months ago to start working as lead enviro concept artist at Redsteam Shanghai (a brand new pre-prod studio of Gameloft). And so far I’ve had the time of my life… I’ve also enjoyed sketching a lot this weird backward fascinating country that is this China…. So here are bits and pieces from all those wanderings. And I’d like to dedicate those travel sketches to somebody whose arts and acts influence and inspire my life in so many ways : my dear friend Adam Paquette who has just started an amazing journey of his own in Bali. Can’t wait to join you in India next year and share the results of your own wanderings… Love you bro !

I have been drawing and painting all day at work. I’m getting ready to go home. And this post just made me want to go home and draw more. Thanks a lot! I love it all!

This post breaks my heart in the best possible way. There’s something about the angles and inclusion of the sketchbook itself that just puts it head and shoulders above postings that are simply the sketched picture.
