the ole’ 1, 2
I will have my piece, “topside” at the Strychnin Gallery, as part of their group show, Magistrates. . The show opens November 13th, and runs until December 6th, in Berlin, Germany.
A little closer to home, I’ll be gladly attending IlluXcon2. Just check out that guest list of artists. That runs from Nov.12- Nov. 15th in Altoona, PA.

congratulations Scotty boy! well done indeed. :)
I really like that dude in the bath tub hehehe… awesome.
I think the illu with the girl could use a few more composition tweaking,
also she has this strange brown-ish halo around her… which draws too much attention? dunno, maybe it`s intentional. :)
at any rate - keep rocking brother!

Thanks so much folks. It’s much appreciated
Patri- Thanks for the critique sir. The composition was actually already laid out for me by the art director on this job. She had a very crude drawing, but with all the elements in place. I am not really sure why - I’ve only had a few jobs like that where the composition is already set in place. You are right though -I would have chosen a much different composition , and it doesn’t mean it couldn’t use improving. That brown halo -yeah…I see it. I think that might just be careless edges :( No excuses there . Thanks again man -I really do appreciate it.

art directors… pppfff…. they can be so full of themselves sometimes. >:\
ho well -YOU`re doing a great job mate. keep at it!
:)

Love them Scott!!!
The first one is probably one of my new favorites from you, and the cover has a dreamy old master’s painting quality to it that I dig a ton (like in palette and rich deep glazings, glowy tones, etc). Yup, totally in love with it :D

Patri- Haha. I should have said this job needed to be done real fast, so that’s why the AD had put everything in place. She was actually awesome to work with -one of the coolest art directors I got a chance with. This job was unusual, since the story is so old, I believe the estate of the author has a great deal of say in it. Kind of unusual!
Fedzzy -Ah man…no way! It’s a pretty crappy photo, but if it comes back from the gallery I’m going to take a better photo. I’ll have to send it your way then :) Thanks again my friend! Hope you guys are doing great.

Min! It’s going pretty good man, and you? That kinda looks like D, even though it is a chick, eh? Well- I probably put him in all my children characters whether it’s intentional or not :) Thanks again my friend- hopefully we’ll get to catch up soon, eh?
