Sketchies and Spotlight

by Adam Paquette | May 30th, 2009

Hey rillaz.

Been a crazy fun week in the studio! Lots of paintings under my belt this week and lots of news to come… but for now just a few sketchy things.

Also I got spotlighted over at Art Order, the blog of Wizards of the Coast Lead AD Jon Schindehette.  Its a great blog so check it, and my little 15 minutes of fame, HERE. (Old post).

Stay well!

Here’s my take on the subject matter.
A small demon, equivalent of a fairy. It loves to chase down fairys and kill them.
Almost like the devil on the shoulder kind of thing.

More Dance Experiments

by Sergio Lopez | May 28th, 2009

These are smaller than the other ones I posted up.  Most of these I banged out in a hour or so.  Trying to go for more spontaneous brushwork, as opposed to depth like the other ones.  Still playing around with these but I want to combine the strengths of both…

Old Picture #1

by Brun | May 28th, 2009

While cleaning the house I found this old picture that my dad (Frank Croes) took about 20 years ago.
I remember seeing this on the wall when I was a little kid and how it always seemed to capture my attention.
I’m still very much in love with this picture, so I replaced it on the wall where it used to be…

ps: the original has a more square like composition, but my scanner wasn’t big enough, sorry for that!!!

No better way to get to know me, then by the trusty sketchbook. Here is some sketchbook’n from life, imagination, and some fan-boy geekyness.  Looking forward to posting often and throw in some finished work soon.  Cheers all!

Just a few more heads

by Nonie | May 27th, 2009

These ones turned out a lot better I think - 2 minutes is startng to feel quite generous, which means the rust is coming off :)  Some are a lot better than others though…heads_5-26

Hey Gorillas!

Been a while since I had anything worth while to post here.  I had some stuff accumulating on the hard drive that I thought I’d share.   Hope ya dig!

Cheers!
